https://www.sestek.com.tw/custom_111870.html VLAN VLAN VLAN(Virtual Local Area Network) Application Example        A VLAN allows a physical network to be partitioned into multiple logical networks. Devices on a logical network belong to one group. With VLANs, a device can only communicate with other devices in the same group. If a device needs to communicate with devices that are not in the same group, the traffic must first go through a Router or Layer 3 switch.    VES-404/VES-402 supports IEEE 802.1Q VLAN and Port-based VLAN. Supports up to 64 802.1Q VLANs.Key Features/Benefits: With traditional networks, network congestion can be caused by broadcast traffic that is directed to all network devices. With VLANs, devices in the same group share the same frame broadcast domain thus increase network performance through reduced broadcast traffic. VLAN groups can be modified at any time by adding or removing ports without re-cabling. With VLANs, a device cannot directly communicate with devices that are not in the same group, thus VLANs provide extra network security.
